A long-standing partnership, starting in 2013. Science Days (SD) was presented in a technological café, being quickly embraced by the county. Planned in 50 days, its first edition took place and, in a single day, it was attended by 23,000 people. This year, the initiative resisted the pandemic and gained a virtual version.

According to former NASA member Mike Lester, the traditional way of teaching is no longer enough to attract the attention of young people. Thus, the event uses an alternative form of study by bringing the proposal to instigate young people's interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics through space education. “Space seems to have a universal fascination”, revealed the professional, who stated that, by generating curiosity, the subject facilitates the process of learning.

The objective of fascinating young people for the STEM universe has been achieved. After the first edition, the desire to learn was aroused in students like André Felipe, who liked to observe how the different areas of technology and science can come together to transform and create countless possibilities."I recommend it a lot", he said when indicating the event.

Mariana Pfitzner, a member of the City Department of science and technology, said that the action gained relevance in such a way that a law was drafted to ensure that the activity takes place every year on site. "It is a great privilege for me to build this bridge between The Space Community and the city of Jundiaí", she said. Thus, the Science Days Challenge was the way found to continue the project that, after the grape festival, consolidated itself as the most important for the area.

In this way, the physical barriers to creating a connection between Florida's space community and Brazil are overcome. "We are very happy to continue the partnership with Jundiaí," said Jefferson Michaelis, one of the creators of the project. Students from Jundiaí will be able to participate in the event without leaving home, and will have the opportunity to compete for medals, gifts, differentiated certificates and the chance to exhibit their projects at Science Days 2021, inside the Space Pavilion
