With a teaching methodology centered on real market experiences and creative problem-solving methods, Farragut Academy  brings the proposal to innovate in the area of education. In its coming to Science Days 2022, the institution promises to bring a different analysis of the importance of using emerging technologies in the process of training great leaders.

A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, Farragut will be the only international secondary school (serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade) to attend Science Days. Being able to be exposed to engineering at such a young level allows for students to really understand the commitment that they want to make within that field or explore more options”, explained the institution's director of admissions, Stephanie Wood.

Through the unique approach of its academic programs, and diverse environment with global reach, the institution seeks to create opportunities for Brazilians to study in the United States. Thus, Stephanie announced that coming to Brazil to be part of Science Days can help firm this deal: “I Know that many foreigners (..) want to send their students abroad so maybe this is an opportunity for a partnership in such fashion” she announced.

During Science Days, Farragut Academy will present its purpose of providing to exchange students a full experience of Florida´s way of living. “The students have plenty of options of clubs and sports, and also the opportunity of using our waterfront, using sail boats, going fishing, and just having a very Florida experience of living here”, said the professional.

“You’re learning to work as a team here at Farragut (…) Keep in mind that when I graduated from Farragut people did not know what an astronaut was, it was not something you prepared for, but Farragut prepared me for life. I am so thankful to my parents for making the sacrifice for me to go to Farragut. It prepared me for the Naval Academy and for life after it.” – Charles Duke during Farragut´s honoring event.
