Science Days team celebrates biggest partnership in the history of the event In its sixth year of activities in Brazil, Science Days brings new experiences, activities, and attractions, such as sending personalized postcards to space aboard Blue Origin’s Rocket New Shepard. However, the new programs are not the only novelty of this edition. With new partnerships, Science Days will be attended by representatives of Brazilian and American institutions ranging from education to the aerospace sector.
Troy University, Full Sail University and Embry-Riddle are just some of the U.S. educational Institutions that will be present at the event, which also has the support of local Brazilian schools such as Instituto Alpha Lumen, Facens University and Newton Paiva University. The purpose of this broad collaboration is to address the importance of STEM & SPACE learning through the presentation of many activities, workshops and projects within the area of space sciences. “We want to promote opportunities for students looking to study abroad,” said Farragut Academy Admissions Director, Stephanie Wood. In its essence of uniting the American and Brazilian cultures, the STEM & SPACE fair will also have the support of the U.S. Department of Commerce, American Embassy and the Brazilian Space Agency (AEB). “We are happy to join the Michaelis Foundation and promote events of this nature”, said the president of AEB, Carlos Moura. Through the partnership with KSCIA, since 2016, Science Days has already provided immersions in the world of space exploration to countless young people. With the support of companies such as Nitto Denko Corporation, Orion AST, Maxar Technologies, R-Crio and Phoenix Technology, Science Days promises to provide a debate on major technological innovations that are revolutionizing the scientific field today. “Contributing to an environment that stimulates the growing desire for continuous learning, Vaya Space is, in fact, sowing the seeds that guarantee the future of the industry in which it operates”, said the vice president of the company's operations in Latin America, Darcton Damião. To participate in this edition of Science Days and enjoy all the programming prepared with the special participation of all the collaborators mentioned above, interested parties can register through the link: https://linktr.ee/ScienceDays .
